One of our first assignments was to create a video that answered the question, "What is knowledge management?"  In another assignment, we were to write about the role of Web 2.0 technologies in KM. This assignment was made during the week of the Paris attacks, and I wrote my response from the heart.

This course allowed us to analyze current scholarly research related to management and leadership. For this assignment, we were to create an annotated bibliography related to a management topic of our choosing. I focused on Organizational Change. Not long after completing the assignment, I co-presented a summary at an Ohio Certified Public Manager conference.

Organizational Culture Assessment

For this course, we were to choose an organizational culture assessment tool and utilize it in the workplace. I chose the Online Cultural Assessment Instrument (OCAI) which is based on the Competing Values Framework. I administered the assessment to Ohio Shared Services employees. The results indicated agreement between management & non-management employees on which direction the division should head.
